GYBO acts as the managers for a small number of selected bands in the UK
GYBO provides bands with management services. These vary from acting as the managers of a band, through to providing more specific and focused services.
We typically provide a band with a framework management contract. On the back of this, rides a detailed work plan for the duration of the contract. We normally engage in contracts over a six month term, which is renewable towards the end of the term.
The aim of managing a band is to ensure that they have full-time, professional management services to help the band to achieve its most important goals - from getting signed to labels, through to ensuring they get booked into key gigs.
At the core of our management service is career development. This is about providing a band with advice, technical support and development. Its is about ensuring that the band is growing and climbing the ladder towards its goals.
Some of the bands that we manage on contract have local managers; people who live in the same area as the band members and who travel with them to gigs and who support the band in a variety of ways. Many of our managed bands are not based in Leicester. There is a clear division of responsibility between the GYBO Management and the work of the local manager.
