About Get Your Band On

Why the change?

Running a band management agency didn't work. There were a lot of reasons for this. During the time that Trevor Locke (editor) was working with bands, he built up a body of knowledge, informtion and contacts that he thought would be worth sharing with the nation's unsigned bands.

Many bands and industry colleagues encouraged him to keep going with his work and so the idea of this magazine was born.

Five years ago Trevor set up a little local web site called ArtsinLeicestershire. It has grown into a successful and much loved and well respected platform for the bands and arts of Leicester.

Trevor therefore decided that it would be great to have a national online magazine that is all about management, growth, development and climbing the ladder, specially for unsigned rock bands in the UK.

So this is why you are seeing here what you are seeing now. There is nothing else like it.
